Performing Umrah in the month of Sha’ban is absolutely permissible, and many people choose to do so during this time for various reasons, including seeking the blessings of the month and preparing spiritually for Ramadan, which follows soon after.

While there is no specific religious requirement to perform Umrah in Sha’ban, it can be a great time to visit the Kaaba before the increased crowds during Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have performed Umrah in Sha’ban, and some people find this month to be spiritually significant.
