Umrah is one of the most significant and revered pilgrimages in Islam, second only to Hajj. Unlike Hajj, which is obligatory for Muslims who meet specific criteria and must be performed during certain days of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah, Umrah can be undertaken at any time of the year. Despite being a non-obligatory (but highly recommended) act of worship, performing Umrah holds great spiritual significance for Muslims around the world. The pilgrimage includes a series of rituals that are deeply symbolic and draw from the actions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the practices of earlier prophets.
